stusha studio is an art and design practice, based in a studio somewhere on Newcastle Street, Perth, Western Australia. Finally, Andrew has got his site up and is sharing a small taste of some of his finest public art and design work.

Amazingly process driven and passionate story-teller, Andrew is arguably one of Australia’s best working public artists and solo-designers and always up for a coffee and a chat.

The Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC) is devoted to excellence in teaching and researching the big issues facing cities in the 21st century. AUDRC is affiliated with the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts at the UWA.

BHD played a crucial role in the roll out of AUDRC’s brand collateral, stationery, flyers and headed up development and design of their feature rich website. I also personally pieced part of the puzzle together and met the author of Boomtown 2050 by Richard Weller. A truly amazing book that every Perth resident should consider reading.

Just a taste of this amazing area of study makes me think about taking a year off to conceptualise urban planning projects filled with community parks along avenues of eucalypt-lined public open space and no roads, just bike paths…

In partnership with Pink Elephant and CDI GROUP BHD recently headed the web development of a responsive, efficient and ‘built to spec’ online presence for Perth’s most dynamic and progressive construction and property groups.

The project section of CDI GROUP’s site includes a great thumbnail gallery display and illustrates their most recent work. Training was included to allow staff to manage and upload images independently.

During this melting hot summer, BHD carefully crafted an online store for PURE ACTIVATIONS with channeling artist, Erin Stone. She writes that “every picture has given me a sense of understanding and I have experienced many different emotions. You will choose the piece you are drawn to, and the message will be for you. I trust you will enjoy my gallery and join me on my journey. As new paintings transpire and are completed they will be added.”

To successfully leverage Envirapest’s long running Adwords campaign and improve search engine results organically, the six year old HTML site was refreshed to ensure the site would work harder by increasing online visibility  in 2012.

Western Envirapest & Weed Solutions are a rapidly growing Environmental Pest & Weed Treatment Consultancy Business and  is now Perth’s largest provider of Environmental Safe Pest & Weed Control Procedures.

A lively and collaborative relationship with Busselton Tennis Club has resulted in a ‘love all’ website and newly crafted online presence.

Ticking all the boxes in terms of sponsor relations, court playing times, a nod to their History and coaching, the new BTC site is well worth a look. They are a friendly bunch and welcome new members, social hitters and visitors of all ages if you happen to be on holiday by the Bay.

Well done to all of our talented Central Institute of Technology Graduating Graphic Design students.

Last Wednesday night saw a fantastic turnout of the Perth creative community, and with the support of some great sponsors and some fantastic judging this year, I’m very proud and confident our lasted batch of sweet things will make the world a tastier place to look at and live in.
