Feast Your Eyes on NM TAFE’s Main Course.
On show from 28th November- 5th December, 2018
This week we are celebrating the 2018 North Metropolitan TAFE Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design Graduation Show. Prepare to enter a world of neon light and refined dining for the senses served by the chefs of Main Course!
A bit of background — this year the Boundless diploma group re-formed and matured, developing a YouTube channel and art directing their own photography, hosting several smaller side events and exhibitions to arrive at the overly complex ‘neon-cafe’ meets ‘medieval feast’ theme. They have also been extremely successful with four out of nine submissions to ISTD SAS. We placed 18 of them with mentors in the AGDA WA ‘Learn the Ropes’ program. Four of them participated in Award School and three of them have won WorldSkills medals (both regionally and nationally). We are humbled by their hard work. They are so young and fresh. Polite. Grateful.

Design feels buoyant in Perth at the moment. Plenty of opportunities. I loved Mel Radman’s comment about ‘harnessing the power of new digital technologies’ – it will help re-invigorate and sharpened our focus for 2019.
