27 Oct Record-Breaking Creativity: NMTAFE Hosts Australia’s Largest Regional WorldSkills Event
North Metropolitan TAFE recently proudly hosted the Regional WorldSkills competitions across Jewellery, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Signcraft and 3D Digital Game Art, showcasing the exceptional skills, creativity and professionalism of our students.
A special congratulations to all competitors, particularly our Diploma and Certificate IV Graphic Design students, who helped deliver what was the largest regional WorldSkills Graphic Design competition held in Australia to date. The quality of work, energy and confidence on display, particularly in motion graphics and After Effects, was truly outstanding.
Thank you to our dedicated convenors, assessors and support staff, including those who contributed behind the scenes to make North Metropolitan TAFE such a successful and welcoming WorldSkills host venue.
Students should be incredibly proud of their achievements. Final marking is now being completed, with Regional Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winners to be officially recognised at the WorldSkills WA Medal Presentation Breakfast at Crown Perth on 4 December.
Congratulations to everyone involved for representing Creative Industries and NMTAFE with such passion, skill and professionalism.
