North Metropolitan TAFE Graphic Design students enjoyed a contextualised and laugh a minute presentation by Patent and Trade Mark Attorney, Dr Nigel Chen-Tan from FB RICE Perth this week.

Using proven crowd engagement techniques (free chocolate) and a light hearted approach with common ‘english terminology’, Nigel was able to bring students onside by celebrating their greatest creative assets and development of copyrightable ideas, logos and designs.

Advanced Diploma Even Odds students who have developed a set of ‘IP GUIDES’ as part of their studies used the time to reflect on three years worth of artistic works that cover packaging, designs, products, images, brands and colours.
